Luminello customers were very loyal to the product. When we announced the acquisition, they were nervous about switching to a new platform. It was my job to put them at ease and make this process simple so they could continue doing what was most important—caring for patients.

The first step was making a detailed journey map to make sure we understood every aspect of this acquisition (screenshots of the journey map above). Once we had a complete timeline, I scheduled proactive communications through email and in-app messaging to make sure customers felt informed throughout the process. I worked closely with our backend engineers to fully understand the details of the data transfer. That was the best way I could make sure our content and designs were clear and accurate.
